Birth Doula

Not accepting clients after Oct. 2026*

A little bit about me...

I’m a wife and mom of two kids born exactly one year apart. I was born and raised in North Carolina, having had the pleasure of living in many different areas of the state, so I am a local through and through. I also have 3 younger brothers who are so much fun, so pregnancy and newborn care have always been familiar things to me. Coming from a big family inspired me to want to become a mom as well. My favorite things in life are good conversation, friends and family, music, having a good podcast to listen to, travel, and all things related to relaxation. Before I had my kids I was a practicing school counselor, but after discovering the depths of my passion in motherhood and the transformative experience that is giving birth, I have found my true calling in helping to support women and families as they bring their own children into the world.

what is your doula style?

I am very individualistic in my approach as every person is unique and beautifully different. I believe the best way for me to serve my clients is by meeting them where they are at, and listening to what their needs and goals are so I can understand first hand the best way to support them. My goal is for the client and their partner to be prepared for postpartum, have the resources they need, and have a positive birthing experience where they feel empowered, informed, confident, and supported in their choices.
I believe that birth and postpartum are one of the most transformative moments in life for women in terms of the mind, body, emotions, and spirit. It reconstructs the mother into an even more powerful and intuitive person. But it also requires so much of the individual, so those going through these experiences deserve to be supported, empowered, and heard; never having to go at it alone. You will never forget these moments in your life, so every mom, partner, and family deserves for the birth of their children to be as positive of an experience as possible.

why did you become a doula?

I have always been driven to have a career that involved helping others, which is why I initially became a counselor. But after a rough experience during the birth of my first child, I did a deep dive into all things physiological and evidence based birth, and my passion for the work that doulas do ignited! Taking my knowledge of the birth (and birth prep!) process and hiring my own doula, the birth of my second child was so redemptive! I want to help other women be able to have beautiful experiences birthing their children while also feeling empowered, informed, supported, and in control. I believe every woman, partner, and family deserves that positive experience, no matter how or where they are giving birth.

favorite types of births to support?

Any and all births are magical and I am here for everyone! However I have a special place in my heart for helping first time moms and those seeking a redemptive birth.

a few of my favorite things...

My favorite things in life are good conversation, friends and family, music, having a good podcast to listen to, travel, and all things related to relaxation.
